L.U.Cipha originated in 1997, but members HEX and Sianide have been spittin rhymes since '91. L.U. released several basement tapes before releasing their first official release, the Witchez Brew EP in October of 1998. Witchez Brew featured psycho type rhymes organized into clever rhyme schemes over wicked, heart pounding beats. This album also gave birth to the "TOXIC" shit- L.U.Cipha's style of rap (also called "Psycho Weed Smokin" shit). Witchez Brew featured the classic track "H6LLOW66N", which started the saga of the H6LLOW66N madness. Witchez Brew was also the first release on L.U.Cipha's independant/underground label, 1134 Productions.
Soon after the release of Witchez Brew came a 6 track solo EP from HEX, entitled Devil Mask. This album featured the 1134 classics, "Kevorkian" and "Dead Bundy". Only 500 copies of this album were made (cassette only), which makes it 1134 Production's rarest album to date.
During the summer of 99, HEX released a full length solo album, entitled Gates Of Hell. This LP featured 26 hellafied tracks including "Red Devil" "Dust", "Naseous Thoughts", "STD'z" and "Superstitition". 1000 copies of this album were made (CD only) and after that 1134 productions announced that it will not be re-printed.
L.U.Cipha's follow-up album came one year after their first release, and is titled Witchez Bible. This album features 22 toxic tracks including "Toxic", "H6LLOW66N2" and "Sick Sense". Sure to leave stereos melted and brains fried!!!
