I managed to catch up with Myzery as
they arrived from their nation wide
tour. This is what they have to say!
- Jelly Nuts: So how did you guys
first
hook up with ICP?
- Myzery: We ran into Jump Steady in
New
York, while he was on personal
buisiness. We gave him a bootleg tape
and I guess he felt some kind of
positive vibes. The vibes were really
strong and BOOM! The saga begins.
- JN: What will you drop first, an
album
or a EP?
- M: Myzery will drop the first EP,
Display of Versatility, and an unknown
style of rap.
- JN: What was the tour like with ICP?
What were your favorite cities?
- M: This was our first tour, and the
whole shit was the bomb diggity. We
didn't receive a whole lot of love in
some cities, but it was expected. On the
other hand, cities like Cleveland,
Minneapolis, Denver, Detroit, Toledo, &
Orlando showed us mad love!!
- JN: How did they react to ICP in New
York City?
- M: The reactions to ICP in New York
were
unbelieveable. All my boys were there!
Fist I didn't know how it was going to
turn out, but after my boys were like "
damn, their the shit!". And most of my
boys are hard core thugs. It turned out
really well. Definitely one of the best
nights of the tour.
- JN: Tell us about the Spanish Side
Crew.
- M: The Spanish Side Crew consists of
a
bunch of Puerto Ricans with mad talent
stuck in the streets of New York trying
to do something positive. Rappers,
singers, DJ's and clic member just want
to be down for the cause.
- JN: What can be expected from the
first
release. An east coast sound, west coast
sound, or midwest horror rap?
- M: Our style is not based on a coast
or
specific target of the industry. It
consists of many styles and many
different topics. We are trying to
evolve the whole industry. The game
needs a lot of changes. That's what
we're here for. A new style of Hip Hop.
We are confident and convinced that we
are ready to rock all 50 states. So get
your state ready, cuz Myzery is rollin'
with the Dark Carnival.
- JN: So have you guys gotten any
skins on
tour?
- M: We have had our share of skins on
the
tour, sometimes it is the bomb,
sometimes you get the bone.
- JN: Word has it that you haven't had
any
skins in a while. Any comments?
- M: We have been on a skins slump,
that
is definately as frustrating as a mother
fucker, but you just gotta deal with it.
As far as skins, we have enough at home
to deal with that little problem. Myzery
signing out.
