Rydas.Com brings you Ryda Mail. A free easy to use email address that doesn't have the problems associated with domains that rely on a free server to host email addresses on their domain. ZNN is a reliable server and no matter what probs Rydas.Com has, if any you will still be able to access your email. Excluding of course and problems that the ZNN server might encounter.
The reasons I did not use a company similar to the ones that RJs and Juggalo
Nation used are simple. When you let another server step in and manipulate your
site in order to host email addresses it is prone to problems. And as far as
I know even if it works properly you lose all your ability to use CGIs. So in
offering one service you severely disable the site. Along with that and the
fact that if either your server, or the email server has a problem you
can not access your mail. So, I thought that this was a good compromise. Offering
you fresh email, while making sure this web site is not limited by it and making
sure you can access your mail even if we experience problems.
For a limited time any one who signs up to Ryda Mail and emails me at webmaster@ryda.znn.com (from their Ryda Mail address) requesting that I give them a @rydas.com forwarding email address I will set one up in the Ryda Mail user name. For example if you are you@ryda.znn.com and you send me a email at webmaster@ryda.znn.com asking to give you a @rydas.com forwarding address, I will give you a you@rydas.com forwarding address. So that mail sent to you@rydas.com will go in your you@ryda.znn.com inbox. Got it? To simplify that just get a Ryda Mail account and email me damnit. Now, the forwarding would be prone to the problems that I mentioned earlier excluding messing with my CGIs because this is a service that comes with my hosting plan. But, if you just have to get mail @rydas.com that is how you can for now.
I wasn't able to set up a Rydas Mail account at ZNN.COM because it was taken
already. But, Ryda is shorter. Keep in mind that along with this being what
appears to be a nice free email service and a great way to support and represent
Rydas.Com, but it won't have all the good names taken, so you can get a fresh
name. If you have a Ryda Mail account I suggest you bookmark ryda.zzn.com
so that if you can not access this page you can still access your mail.
